Thumb drive infected by virus?

After your thumb drive have been infected by a virus, you feel that you cannot open directly from the My Computer window. Why? This is because the virus have generated a file call Autorun.inf which function to auto run the virus in your thumb drive. To solve this problem, you doesn't need to format your thumb drive. Let me teach you how to fix this problem. First go to Control Panel > Folder Options. Go to View and then in Advanced Settings > Hidden Files and Folders, mark the Show hidden files and folders & dis mark Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). Click OK. Explore your thumbdrive and find a file named Autorun. Delete this file, eject your thumb drive and you will see that it now can operate normally. Finally, Control Panel > Folder Options > View > Restore Defaults.
